Meet the Creator of Theta Thoughts
Aloha, I am Melinda, the creator of Theta Thoughts. I am also a yoga instructor, meditation guide, alignment coach, sound healer, Reiki Master, toolbox extraordinaire and a believer that we are the creators of our lives; I believe that we have the power to heal ourselves and create our own happiness and joy.
My studies and expertise expand into the areas of mindfulness, positive psychology, happiness and the law of attraction. I hold a Masters Degree in Psychology and a 500-hour certification in Yoga. I have molded my interests into a unique experience that is designed to assist individuals, like yourself, on their path of manifestation and transformation, while bringing about positive changes and improving the quality of their life. I am in the business of spreading love and Theta Thoughts is just that; it is an offering of love.
The BIRTH and Journey of Theta Thoughts
In 2016 I began a daily, written, affirmation practice. I remember resisting the practice for years despite its frequent appearance in my repertoire of self- improvement books. I clearly recall how uncomfortable I felt writing out my affirmations, which at the time felt like lies. But I was desperate; I had tried everything else and I needed something radical to shift my mindset. So I stayed with the practice. I continued to show up each day. And then something magical happened. About three weeks into my daily affirmations practice I began to notice that the things I had been writing down were becoming my truths. From that point on I began to see my daily affirmations as a magical wish list and each item I'd write down would become my reality. I fell madly in love with my affirmation practice and eventually myself.
In 2017 I discovered binaural beats. I'd been practicing Yoga Nidra almost daily for about two years to manage my anxiety and I found that binaural beats would guide me to a similar state in consciousness. I began a regular practice; experimenting with different brainwaves, frequencies and results. Sometimes I would lie down and close my eyes and drop into deep theta states and other times I would write out my affirmations while listening, amplifying my positive emotions tremendously.
In 2018 I began recording my affirmations and pairing them with binaural beats. I experimented with many different varieties, sound levels, lengths of time, times of day and so on. I have a habit of playing scientist and subject. At the time, I was clear on what I was calling into my life but I found deep-seated limiting beliefs were holding me back. No matter what techniques I tried on the surface level to attract my desires, meditating, affirmations, gratitude, visualization, etc., something deep inside of me was keeping me from attaining them; my beliefs, which were being fueled by my thoughts. I found that the theta brainwave entrainment relaxed my body and mind and made me more receptive to receiving my newly desired thought pattern. The results were astonishing. In a short time I began to attract all of the things I'd been focusing on and I was simultaneously feeling more relaxed and resilient in life.
In 2019 I received divine guidance from Source to share this. It came through inspired thought and I knew this needed to be shared with others. Within days Theta Thoughts was born and in a few sort months, full of sleepless nights creating, Theta Thoughts was made available to all.
